DALLAS + KARYSA STEAMY WATER SESSION IN VICTORIA, BC

Last summer, I traveled back to my old stomping grounds, good ol’ Vic city for a weekend full of shoots. When Karysa messaged me saying they were interested in doing a water session, I was extremely pumped!! Karysa is a Powell River gal like me, so we already knew each other but she is seriously so so sweet! Dallas, well he has got to be the nicest ever and the two of them are literally couple GOALS!!!! I am SO looking forward to working with them again in the near future.

WHAT MADE US CHOOSE A WATER SESSION?

I am a HUGE believer that your session should be 100% unique and true to you. It doesn’t have to be the same old same old like every one else. We live on the beautiful coast of BC, so why not use that to create some epic photos in the water?! Dallas and Karysa were game for it and also such troopers considering the water wasn’t the warmest haha! We shot these in June, which was still a tad early to be swimming in the ocean, but not the worst - we are from Canada ;) Just like all of my sessions, I like to shoot mostly at sunset or in the early evening. The warm hues mixed with the blue tones from the sky and the water were a perfect combo and fit the vision perfectly! We did not want to do these during the day in the harsh sunlight, because it just wouldn’t have the same effect. You would never know that this Bay has houses surrounding it, so we had quite the audience that day LOL! All in all, what you should expect is one heck of a good time splashing around with your lover. Laughs, lots of laughs. That is key! I’ll be in the water with you, so you don’t have to freeze your buns off alone! Jk, if you do it further into the summer, the water will be nice and toasty!
